For a quarter of a century The Sport Industry Awards have celebrated the immense work carried out within the sector.
From agencies delivering world-class events and campaigns, to rightsholders using sport as a platform to drive social change, or brands activating a sponsorship that reverberates around the industry and beyond, and suppliers elevating fan experience on behalf of their clients – all are recognised.
As well as serving as the biggest night of the sport industry calendar, the Sport Industry Awards is an eight-month long campaign with various milestones throughout.
Entries Open
Entries typically open in September with a free-to-attend ‘Meet the Categories’ event taking place at the SIG office in November.
Entries Close
Entries close in December with paid extensions available into early January.
Judging
The judging phase is one of the most transparent and stringent procedures of its kind, fully overseen by EY, who act as independent adjudicators.
Shortlist AnnouncemEnt
The Shortlist announcement typically takes place in February and see the SIG team hand deliver gifts to many entry organisations.
Awards Night
The biggest night of the sport industry calendar typically takes place on the last Thursday of April.
