#Merky FC is a partnership between adidas and Stormzy to enhance and protect diverse representation in football. First established in 2022, with an ambition to affect change across the football community by addressing the lack of diversity off the pitch. The initiative has now created 79 roles with some of the leading brands in the football industry, from Manchester United and Arsenal, to Sky Sports and LADbible. In addition this year has seen the opening of #Merky FC HQ, an innovative community space in Croydon housing a recording studio, football pitches and sports gaming hub. The venue has already hosted 1,000s of young people at events and educational activities since opening in May, providing vital access to training and development opportunities for young people in the local community and beyond.
