Five years ago, club chairman Tony Bloom set out a vision of being a top 10 Premier League club and a top 4 Women’s Super League club. Last season this vision started to come into view, taking part in the UEFA Europa League for the first time in the club’s history and winning the group stage. The team has received many plaudits for an entertaining playing style that delivers results and a whole new fanbase of football admirers. Often being cited as a club that ’is run the right way’ for the football purists and the fans, the club aims for a high performance culture in all areas. Off the pitch, the club published a record breaking profit of £112m and an economic impact to the local community of £612m during the 2023/24 season.
