With one in five people in the UK disabled, and facing higher unemployment rates, disability inclusion is often overlooked in workplace diversity efforts. Addressing this, Bupa leveraged its partnership with ParalympicsGB, to create the Team Health Challenge, an inclusive event at London Stadium for over 300 guests from 40 businesses. Teams encountered challenges such as wheelchair rugby, goalball, and building prosthetic hands for charity, highlighting the value of diverse teams and giving every body, every mind and every personality a chance to shine. The event achieved 100% attendee satisfaction, enhancing Bupa’s brand perception as an inclusive healthcare provider, and garnered widespread media coverage reinforcing Bupa’s commitment to driving change in workplace wellness, diversity and inclusion.
