For a global brand like Nissan it’s easy to talk about purpose driven sponsorship, but actually delivering meaningful change is a tougher task. Running might appear to be one of the world’s most democratic sports, but for millions of disabled and LGBTQ+ people in the UK, the barriers are daunting. This isn’t a problem you just solve overnight. But in the last twelve months the Possibilities Project has delivered genuine impact through partnerships, building visibility and creating solutions that actually make a difference. In a year when the automotive industry faced tough decisions, Nissan doubled down on its commitment to the project, surpassing all objectives in the process. Not only did the project make a massive difference to individual lives but it reached the masses thanks to our own most inclusive running event ever – Run To The Future – featured on a new global documentary on Prime Video.
