Sport England has ambitions to inspire and support the sport sector to tackle climate change, enabling greater opportunity for all to participate in sport and physical activity, now and in the future, with the launch of their first-ever sustainability strategy, Every Move. Sport England wants to act as a global advocate for positive change, by being an environmentally responsible organisation and working with all partners to show the way and drive climate awareness and action across England. Following the launch of Every Move, Sport England led Pedal for Paris – an 8-day bike ride ahead of the Olympics – to raise awareness of the issue and galvanise the sport and physical activity sector to step up its work in tackling climate change.
