Fantasy Premier League
Since its launch in 2002, Fantasy Premier League (FPL) has become one of the biggest fantasy sports products in the world. With 11m+ managers, FPL is integral to the fabric of Premier League (PL) fandom, with global media outlets dedicating weekly column inches to the official game. Given its success, the envy of many rightsholders, it would be easy to rely on the core manager set driving audience through their own communities. But PL fandom is changing and broadening with significant interest from younger, international audiences. To meet this opportunity and grow its global audience yet further, the PL has continued to invest in enhancing the Classic and Draft games, and also in a new, more accessible format – FPL Challenge. All three games are fuelled by thoughtful manager engagement communications and creative content delivery, designed to service both the PL’s platforms and the broader FPL content network.
