Gallery: The Road To The World Cup
Football publisher Goal Click has created an original first-person storytelling series with a selection of players who will be representing their countries at the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023.
From Australia and the US Women’s National Team to South Korea and Switzerland, the series features more than 20 players from 18 competing nations.
The participating players – in Goal Click’s trademark fashion – have used disposable cameras and the written word to capture their journeys to the World Cup.
We’ve picked out some of the best shots below.
Throughout the series, each of the players will tell the story of their football life, community, club commitments, and national team training camps, as they prepare for the biggest standalone women’s sporting event to ever take place.
The first set of stories launched on Goal Click channels on 19th July and continue to be released throughout the tournament.
