Co-op Live, the new music, entertainment, and sport arena opening in Manchester, has released a number of image renders revealing the interior of Co-op Live’s innovative ‘smart bowl’.
Set to open in December 2023, the 23,500-capacity venue is currently under construction on Manchester’s Etihad Campus, the home of Premier League champions Manchester City.
The project is a joint venture between Oak View Group and City Football Group, alongside private investor and singer Harry Styles, who has been instrumental in the design of the venue.

The bowl, designed with an intimate atmosphere in mind, will feature no corporate branding, to attempt to ensure an intimate experience between fan and performer.
This has not stopped the venue securing commercial agreements. Britvic, Elavon, Unilever, Schneider Electric, Diageo and Bristol Street Motors are some of the brands to have already agreed partnerships with the unbuilt venue, while Co-op’s 15-year naming rights deal, signed in 2020, is thought to be worth around £100m.
