With Christmas just around the corner, we’ve taken a look back over the past month to see how sports have got into the festive spirit.

You can always trust Paddy Power to smash an ad out of the park. Their latest release follows a couple counting down to the big celebration… at the darts!

LEEDS UNITED – TRUE COLOURS

The White have discovered their inner-John Lewis with this touching effort. Following a brother and sister’s unconditional love for Leeds United, the ad highlights a family’s connection to the iconic football club.

JD SPORTS – THE BAG FOR LIFE

For a certain generation, the JD Sports drawstring bag is iconic. This Christmas ad may lack festive feeling, but it is the perfect love letter to a legendary accessory.

RANGERS – THIS CHRISTMAS IT’S RANGERS ALL THE WAY

Calling all Rangers legends. This ad sees Gers’ stars from past and present come together for a Christmas Day celebration with a special appearance from a footballing legend.

CELTIC FC – LIGHT UP SOMEONE’S CHRISTMAS

On the other side Glasgow, Ranger’s rivals Celtic had a crack a Christmas ad of their own. The film focuses on those that struggle at Christmas and how the Celtic FC Foundation can help.

SKY SPORTS – THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH

A hectic football schedule forms the foundation of a sports fan’s Christmas plans. Fresh from their latest broadcast rights renewal Sky Sports have recruited the likes Jack Grealish, Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards to spread festive cheer.
