188bet Strikes Double Shirt Deal
Online gaming company 188BET has become the first brand to sign concurrent shirt sponsorship deals with two Premier League clubs after agreeing deals with Bolton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic.
The in-play football betting specialist will become principal sponsor of both clubs from the start of the 09/10 season, and the brand logo will appear on all adult club shirts for the next two seasons. These agreements mark 188BET’s first significant step into the English football market.
The new look kits will be unveiled by the clubs this week and will be worn for the first time in each team’s last home game of the season; on Saturday 16th May when Bolton Wanderers play Hull City and on Sunday 24th May when Wigan Athletic take on Portsmouth.
188BET will officially kick off the agreements with major initiatives to coincide with the start of the new Premier League season.
With the aim of rewarding fans, 188BET will work with both clubs across a number of areas of activity including in-stadium, online and community initiatives where appropriate.
