1966 Entertainment, the company responsible for managing the commercial and charitable interests of the England football team, has appointed M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment to help support their full range of services.
The account was won following a competitive pitch to create a campaign that would enhance and highlight the charitable work undertaken by the national team through initiatives such as the England Footballers Foundation. The campaign will be rolled out across 2013 and will cover multiple channels.
In addition to this, M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment will also be supporting 1966’s wider business interests including Sports Insurance, the 1966 Academy and Team Medics.
Steve Martin, CEO at M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment, who will oversee the account, said: ‘We are delighted to have been appointed by 1966 Entertainment to work across the wonderful initiatives that they pioneer and to deliver what will be an exciting campaign.’
In addition to the appointment of M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment, 1966 Entertainment will also continue their working relationship with the Sports PR Company.
