2mb Management Signs Defoe

2mb International Soccer Management has unveiled its first major signing in a deal with England and Tottenham Hotspur striker Jermain Defoe.

The deal will see 2mb take over all commercial and media affairs for the striker. Jimmy Carter, 2mb International Soccer Management Chief Operating Officer, will coordinate Defoe day-to-day, with 2mb CEO Mark Blundell, the 2mb advisory board, including former England striker Les Ferdinand, providing strategic counsel.

The agreement is a collaboration between Defoe, his mother and advisor Sandra, Blundell and 2mb advisory board member, Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton’s father, Anthony Hamilton.

Launched in October 2009, 2mb International Soccer Management is overseen by ex-F1 driver and TV pundit Mark Blundell.

International Soccer Management runs in parallel with its motorsport sister business, 2mb Sports Management.
