666BET.com has signed sponsorship deals with six non-league clubs playing in this weekend’s FA Cup first round, which will see the online bookmaker’s logo appear on the kits of a selection of sides from across the country and the non-league pyramid.
The clubs, named the ‘666BET Super Six’, include: Conference South trio Basingstoke Town, Gosport Borough and Weston-super-Mare, Conference North’s AFC Fylde, as well as East Thurrock United of the Ryman Isthmian Premier and Norton United of the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Division One South.
Barry Martin, CEO of 666BET.com, said of the deals: ‘From Premier League to non-league, 666BET is proud to be involved in football across all levels of the beautiful game.’
‘We are looking forward to seeing the ‘666BET Super Six’ in action this weekend and hope they can pull off a few shocks in The FA Cup first round.’
All agreements will continue for every round in which the teams remain in the competition and include perimeter board advertising for the sides playing at home.
The teams will have the 666BET logo on the front of their shirts apart from Basingstoke Town and Weston-super-Mare, who will wear the logo on the back of shirt and shorts respectively. These two deals will also apply to league games until the end of the season.
AFC Fylde have created a limited run of the special edition FA Cup shirts, which will be worn at Plymouth Argyle. They are being sold for £20.22, the price reflecting the year the club hopes to be playing in the Football League.
Since launching in summer 2014, 666BET has signed Harry Redknapp as its brand ambassador and stars in the company’s TV advertising alongside Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels star Vas Blackwood.
The brand also has betting partnerships with Premier League sides Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion, as well as sponsoring League One Leyton Orient’s shirt.
