Online gambling firm 888.com has strengthened its ties with snooker after
renewing its sponsorship deal with Ronnie O’Sullivan for a further 18 months.

The association, which began last year, has been strengthened through the
new, improved contract which will see O’Sullivan wear an 888.com patch on his
waistcoat at tournaments and will include use of his image rights plus a number
of personal appearances.

The latter part of the deal will see 888.com use the personal appearances to
give fans the opportunity to play snooker against O’Sullivan by winning online
tournaments.

888.com struck a multi-year title sponsorship deal for the World Snooker
Championships last year with this year’s tournament taking place at The Crucible
in Sheffield in April.

The new deal with O’Sullivan will take in the next two World Championships.

The sponsorship contract was negotiated by Karen Earl Sponsorship.
