Football media platform, 90min, has extended its partnership with the Professional Footballer’s Association (PFA) Fans’ Player of the Month and Year Awards, and will act as the official media partner for the awards for the remainder of the 2014/2015 season.

The awards, which cover both the Premier League and the Football League, are voted for by fans from all over the world via the 90min website and app, with one fan every month chosen to present the award in person to the winning player.

Asaf Peled, founder of 90min – previously known as FTBpro – said: ‘We are delighted to be partnering with the PFA again this year, and to be involving even more fans in the conversation and the voting each month. 90min is all about giving a voice to the fans and a platform for them to share their opinions and join the debate, and our association with the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month and Year Awards is another great and unique way of us being able to do this.’

PFA CEO, Gordon Taylor, added: ‘The PFA Fans’ Player of the Month and Year Awards are designed to give a strong voice to the supporters who are the lifeblood of the game. Our partnership with 90min means that more fans than ever, from all over the world can have their say month in, month out.’

Since its founding in 2011, 90min has grown to become one of the largest media platforms in global football with over 15 million unique users a month.

This week Manchester United’s David De Gea was named PFA Fans’ Player of the Month for November.
