A1 Grand Prix has poached a top Siemens executive to become the new chief
executive officer of the fledgling motor racing series.
Pete Da Silva will join A1GP in January 2007 from his current position as
Group CEO, Siemens in South Africa.
The Brazilian-born 48-year old will take
overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the series, overseeing its

outstanding entertainment package so for me, this is a great opportunity to
combine my business experience with a personal passion for the sport.’
