Ac Milan And Roc Nation Champion Emerging Talent In New Live Event

Serie A club AC Milan and entertainment company Roc Nation have partnered to create ‘From Milan With Love: Next Gen’, a follow-up virtual live event which aims to champion emerging talent from around the world. 

Following on from the pair’s collaboration during the initial coronavirus lockdown in May, when they held a similar event fusing music with sport – also called From Milan With Love – the new activation will take place on Friday 20th November 7:45pm GMT, and will feature live performances, combining the ‘aggregative power’ of music with the key values of sport.

The 90-minute show will air on music-streaming platform TIDAL as well as across AC Milan’s social and digital channels. It will also go live on a variety of Chinese social media sites Weibo, Toutiao, Douyin, Dongqiudi and WeChat.

Hosted by Grammy-award winning producer DJ Khaled, performers will include the likes of Axos, Daniella Mason, VENVA, Cocoa Sarai, Bibi and Harlor, with additional appearances from famous AC Milan faces, including senior squad members. 

The event will also highlight the journeys of young talents from a variety of fields, such as videography, food, and business.

Organisers say the event will reflect fact that the Serie A club has the youngest team in Europe’s top five football leagues – and has an average age of under 25 – as well as its culturally diverse make-up, with 23 different nationalities represented across its men’s and women’s teams. The event will feature talent sourced from five different continents by music distribution platform Equity Distribution, and will include both male and female emerging talent.

The initial From Milan with Love event reached a viewing audience of millions across linear and digital channels in May 2020 during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, and paid tribute to front line workers in Italy and around the world.
