Adidas Campaign Brings Messi To London

Adidas launched a unique viral campaign in which it bought Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi to secret locations in London to partake in football activities with schoolchildren.

?Adidas ran the ‘Catch him if you can’ campaign on its official football Facebook page, on which it tantalised users with pictures of places in London in which Messi was due to appear.

Messi then landed in Hackney Marshes to become ‘the world’s fastest sub’ as he took part in an 11-a-side match.

He was then whisked to Hanbury Street as adidas gave away free pairs of its new F50 Adizero boots from a market stall.

Messi concluded his whistle-stop tour as he played a 5-a-side match with school children in Trafalgar Gardens in Tower Hamlets.?
