Adidas Launches Star Wars Wc Campaign

Sports brand Adidas is launching a Star Wars-themed World Cup campaign featuring characters from the movie series alongside brand ambassadors including David Beckham, Noel Gallagher and Snoop Dogg.

The advert recreates a bar scene from the Star Wars film whereby the stars are featured alongside the original piece of footage.

The spot is the brand’s latest push for its Adidas Originals fashion range and the campaign also features Franz Beckenbauer and Ciara alongside Star Wars characters Han Solo, Chewbacca, C-3PO and Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Adidas is an official FIFA partner and the advert will premiere on television in the UK and the US on 12th June.

Adidas recently kicked off its World Cup campaign with an advert starring footballers Lionel Messi, David Villa and Zinedine Zidane.
