Aigo Signs Up With McLaren F1 Team

The McLaren Formula One team has signed a long-term sponsorship deal with
Chinese digital technology brand Aigo ahead of the 2007 season.

Aigo, which is the first Chinese brand to appear on the McLaren car, will
become a corporate partner to the team with its branding appearing prominently 
on  the  cars  and  the  race suits of two-times world champion  Fernando 
Alonso and recently announced team-mate Lewis Hamilton.

The MP3 and MP4 player brand is the latest sponsor to sign up to the McLaren
team which recently signed a title sponsorship deal with Vodafone for the 2007
season which begins in January.

‘Aigo is very excited about joining Vodafone McLaren Mercedes a team with
such a strong global presence,’ said Jessie Chang, the brand’s chief executive.

‘We are looking forward to using the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes marketing
platform to spearhead aigo’s global strategy to make Aigo’s MP3 and MP4 players
the number one choice of consumers worldwide.’
