Alex Scott & Alastair Campbell Confirmed For Sport Industry Nextgen: A Celebration

Arsenal ladies captain and England player Alex Scott has been announced as the host for Sport Industry NextGen: A Celebration on 2nd February, while writer, communicator and strategist Alastair Campbell has also been confirmed to speak at the event.

The footballer, who is also a leading broadcaster across London Live and Premier League Fanzone programming, will kick off the evening by introducing the 2017 Sport Industry NextGen Leaders on stage.

Campbell will reflect on a year that has seen the strength of leadership across the country put to the test, and what it means for sport and beyond in 2017.

Sky Sport’s Yath Gangakumaran and Upshot’s Preeti Shetty – Sport Industry NextGen Leaders for 2016 – will also reflect on their journey throughout the Sport Industry NextGen Leadership Package.

Watford FC captain Troy Deeney, announced last week, will conclude the evening by sharing his leadership journey, the responsibilities of the modern day captain and lessons he has learned from his past to help mentor youngsters rising through the ranks.

Taking place at Village Underground, Shoreditch, the celebration evening will combine educational and inspirational content and high-level networking as the second group of Sport Industry NextGen Leaders prepare to kick off their Leadership Package.
