Newcastle United Co-Owners Amanda Staveley and Mehrdad Ghodoussi are set to leave St James’ Park, according to multiple UK reports.
In October 2021, Staveley and Ghodoussi acquired a 10% stake in the club, as part of its £305m Saudi-backed takeover.
The consortium that bought the club comprised Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), and the Reuben family, which held shares of 80% and 10% respectively.

The husband and wife since saw their share reduced to 6% last year, after the PIF and Reuben family increased their ownership stakes in the Premier League club.
The investors have now reportedly sold their remaining share, and will end their three-year spell in Tyneside.
During their tenure, Newcastle secured a return to the UEFA Champions League for the 2023/24 campaign, ending a 20-year hiatus.
After the takeover, Staveley and Ghodoussi oversaw the day-to-day operations at the club, playing a key role in the appointment of Eddie Howe as manager, as well as heavy investment in the team’s playing squad.
