Anytime Fitness has appointed Promote PR to manage its UK consumer and trade public relations with immediate effect.
Anytime Fitness has over three million members at more than 4,000 gyms in 30 countries, and now has 140 gyms trading in the UK, with plans to open 400 clubs by 2020.
Promote PR will be tasked with increasing awareness of the brand and its key products in the UK market.
In line with the brand’s PR and marketing initiatives, Promote PR will generate content and publicity in specialist and national media, as well as reaching broader audiences through partnerships and influencers.
Stuart Broster, CEO of Anytime Fitness UK, said: “Promote were the obvious choice for us with such a fantastic reputation and breadth of experience in both the leisure and franchise sectors. Their pitch demonstrated an extensive understanding of our business requirements and it was clear they would be able to quickly make an impact with the campaigns and franchisee support they proposed.
“The agency’s passion for the fitness sector is evident. It’s no surprise that with almost 25 years specialising in this field, their relationships with relevant media, influencers, event organisers and key associations are so very impressive.”
Sue Anstiss MBE, Promote PR’s CEO, said: “Having witnessed the phenomenal growth of Anytime Fitness globally in the past 15 years, it’s a real dream opportunity for us to help the company grow further in the UK.
“We’re incredibly proud to add the Anytime Fitness brand to our portfolio of clients in fitness and are already enjoying working with the UK team as we plan for an exciting year ahead.
