It has been announced that the 19 times champion jockey AP McCoy will continue to work with BBC Radio 5 live as part of their horseracing team over the coming season, in a deal brokered by his management company Lloyd Burns Management.
The partnership will see AP McCoy feature as a regular guest on Mark Chapman’s Friday night 5 live sport show as well as on special programmes including ‘A Jockey’s Question Time’ which will be aired next month. AP will take questions from other jockeys and apprentice jockeys in front of a live audience at The British Racing School in Newmarket, on Wednesday 15 October, 7.30pm.
Commenting on the deal, AP McCoy said: ‘I’m delighted to be asked back on the airwaves again. I really enjoyed chatting racing and football last season, and am looking forward to doing the same again with Chappers. Some big race meetings coming up, and some big matches to discuss. Never know, might even predict some winners.’
You can hear AP on BBC Radio 5 live from Friday 24th October.
