Financial services provider Apex Group has been unveiled as the title sponsor of the upcoming West Indies v England Test cricket series.

The three-match Apex Test series will take place in March, forming part of the 2021-2023 ICC World Test Championship.

The latest deal comes after Apex was announced as the official sustainability partner of Cricket West Indies, while the company also served as a shirt sponsor for the national team at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup last year.

As part of this new partnership, Apex will deliver its carbon footprint assessment and advisory services annually for Cricket West Indies, with the ultimate target of supporting the organisation’s aim to become carbon neutral.

Apex Group Founder and CEO, Peter Hughes, said, “Following a challenging two years for sport, we are pleased to be a part of the return of International Test cricket hosted in the West Indies.

“This is an important partnership for us, as we look forward to further leveraging the combined global platform Apex Group and the West Indies represent, to raise awareness for driving greater environmental sustainability in the sport; for fans, players and future generations.”

The series will feature matches at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua from 8th-12th March, at the Kensington Oval in Barbados from 16th-20th March, and the National Cricket Stadium in Grenada from 24th-28th March.

Cricket West Indies CEO, Johnny Grave, added, “With the West Indies versus England Test rivalry dating back nearly 100 years, this deeper partnership with Apex enables Cricket West Indies to make cricket more sustainable as we move towards a second century of West Indies cricket and build the next generation of cricketers across the Caribbean.”
