Arsenal have announced a multi-year partnership with digital bank Starling, which becomes the club’s new official retail banking partner.

The partnership, which includes both the men’s and women’s teams, has launched with a new financial literacy campaign called ‘Good with Money’. The campaign uses football terminology to explain key financial skills and is fronted by former Arsenal goalkeeper David Seaman.

The first video, ‘Defending against Cyber Crims’, explains how to protect personal banking information. Future instalments will be released on social media, featuring past and present players including Alessia Russo and Beth Mead.

As part of the agreement, Starling customers will be offered exclusive perks such as ticket giveaways. The bank will also work with Arsenal in the Community on initiatives to provide resources for women and girls in North London. The deal follows Starling’s previous football sponsorships, including the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 and Southampton Women’s FC.

Juliet Slot, Chief Commercial Officer at Arsenal, said, “We’re delighted to welcome Starling as the eighth new partner to join our family of world-class brands here since the end of last season.

“Starling has such a strong footprint in the game already, including being at the forefront of supporting sustainable growth in the women’s game – a goal we’re both focused on and will underpin so much of our work together in the coming seasons. We’re proud to have Starling join our diverse range of partners, who together are powering our ambition for sustained success.”
