Arsenal Launch Membership Drive

Premier League club Arsenal has launched a global direct marketing campaign to drive club membership renewal ahead of the start of the new season.


The ‘Wherever. Forever Arsenal’ campaign, created by design agency Clinic, aims to bolster the club’s international support by including travel-related merchandise.


The club has sent 100,000 membership welcome packs to its global and UK fan base.


Packs include branded wash bags, luggage tags and passport holders as well as a CD-ROM containing renewal information, interactive advertising, video and a bespoke Arsenal FC e-zine.


The North London club is believed to be looking at its new sponsorship deals to boost revenues with Ivan Gazidis, the club’s chief executive, reportedly considering renegotiating the club’s shirt sponsorship deal with Emirates and kit deal with Nike.
