Arsenal FC has agreed a new partnership with Betfair, which will see the exchange become the Premier League side’s official betting partner in Europe, excluding the UK, Ireland, Italy and Russia.
The deal gives Betfair branding and hospitality at all domestic games played at the Emirates Stadium, while Arsenal players will also participate in promotional campaigns.
Arsenal, who finished third in the Premier League last season, followed up a Community Shield victory over Chelsea last week with an opening weekend defeat at home to West Ham.
Vinai Venkatesham, the club’s chief commercial officer, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Betfair and welcome them to our family of commercial partners.
“We look forward to working together to further engage with Arsenal supporters in Europe and provide them with access to Betfair’s innovative products and services.”
Stephen Mault, the head of media, PR and sponsorship at Betfair, added: “We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with Arsenal. We will offer our range of pioneering products, exclusive offers and promotions to supporters across the season and we look forward to building a successful relationship with both club and fans.”
