Arsenal Women will play the majority of their home fixtures at the Emirates Stadium from the 2024/25 season, the club has announced.
The Emirates move comes after the WSL outfit drew an average attendance of 52,029 fans at the ground across six matches in the 2023/24 season.
Next season, the team will play 11 matches at the 60,700-seat venue, which has been the home of Arsenal’s men’s first team since 2006. This includes eight WSL games and three home UEFA Women’s Champions league matches.
Arsenal Women’s remaining fixtures will be played at the team’s longstanding home venue – the 4,500-capacity Meadow Park in Borehamwood – which will host FA Cup and League Cup games.

The team has delivered two sellout matches, and eclipsed multiple attendance records during the current campaign. Most recently, Arsenal’s 3-1 win over Manchester United was watched by 60,160 fans at the Emirates.
Arsenal Women’s average attendance numbers have more than doubled over the last year, rising from 15,572 to 32,618 for 2023/24.
Meanwhile, games played at the Emirates have seen an 11% increase from 46,877 to 52,029.
Vinai Venkatesham, CEO of Arsenal, said, “For almost four decades, we’ve been at the forefront of the women’s game. We’ve recently seen extraordinary growth in supporters coming to Emirates Stadium for games held here, which include two complete sell-outs this season.
“The next step in our journey is to make Emirates Stadium our main home for Arsenal Women. We’re looking forward to giving more supporters the chance to watch our women’s team play.
“This is part of a collective drive across the club to take the women’s game forward and support sustainable growth of the game so it can thrive in the long term.”
