Ascot Announces New Commercial Director

Juliet Slot, with over 20 years of diverse experience within the business of sport, has been announced as the new commercial director at Ascot Racecourse, joining in early November.

Juliet, 44, joins after three years as managing director of sports marketing and communications agency, Pitch, where she has overseen significant business growth.

Previous roles include five years on the Board of Fulham Football Club as sales and marketing director, where she redeveloped the brand, secured high profile partnerships and significantly increased both season ticket sales and memberships.  

Charles Barnett, chief executive at Ascot, said: ‘Juliet has a wealth of experience in the commercial sports arena with a proven record of delivery. Importantly, she is as enthusiastic about the sport of racing as the team that she joins and we are looking forward to taking the business forward over the coming years.’

Juliet added: ‘Ascot is the world’s premier racecourse with an extraordinary history and a bright future. This opportunity to share my broad experience and build our brand, our offer and our commercial programme is a very appealing challenge for me.
