Ascot Racecourse has extended its partnership with Howden, signing a new five-year deal that will run until 2030.
The renewed relationship builds on a successful partnership that began in 2021. As part of the agreement, Howden’s branding will continue to be featured prominently across all Ascot racedays, including the globally renowned Royal Ascot.
Howden provides specialist expertise in bloodstock and equine insurance solutions to equestrian associations, racecourses, racehorse trainers, and horse owners.
Beyond Royal Ascot, Howden will also continue its title sponsorship of key events in the racing calendar. The Howden Christmas Racing Weekend features prominent races such as the Grade 1 Howden Long Walk Hurdle and the Grade 2 Howden Noel Novices’ Chase. The insurance group also holds partnerships with the Victoria Racing Club in Australia, the Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia, and the Bahrain Turf Series.
Felicity Barnard, CEO, Ascot Racecourse, commented, “We are thrilled to extend our partnership with Howden, a company that shares our passion for horse racing and commitment to excellence.
“Their support has been instrumental in enhancing the experience for our guests and participants alike.”
David Howden CBE, CEO, Howden, added, “As a company that’s passionate about horses and that prides itself on our bloodstock expertise, Ascot has deepened our connection with an industry we love.
Ascot is truly a place like no other. A place our colleagues love to come and a place our clients from across the world are champing at the bit to visit.”
