The organisers of the 2017 Ealing Half Marathon have announced that sports performance brand ASICS will be the race’s official sports brand and training partner for the fourth year running.

As official sports brand and training partner, ASICS will be looking to support the 8,000 runners at the 2017 Ealing Half Marathon with assets like MY ASICS, an online training tool that helps runner achieve their goals and set up individual training plans for their chosen distance.

In addition to training plans, runners are able to log their runs, find useful information and communicate and share their progress with other runners via the MY ASICS Facebook app – a timeline filled with support and advice to keep runners motivated.

ASICS will also have a presence in the race village on race day and promote the Ealing Half Marathon through its various channels.

Race director Sandra Courtney commented: “The Ealing Half Marathon is going from strength to strength and we are proud to announce that ASICS will once again be the official sports brand and training partner for the 2017 race. As a high performance running brand ASICS is a perfect match for our event, and runners can look forward to plenty of support in the run up to race day; we would encourage anyone taking part to track their training on MY ASICS, whether this is their first half marathon or an attempt at a PB. We are looking forward to seeing many runners achieve and better their targets at what promises to be our best event yet.”

ASICS UK marketing manager, Cathy McGinnis, added: “We are delighted to announce our sponsorship with the Ealing Half Marathon for the fourth consecutive year. It is a highly successful partnership in which we are able to support a key event in the UK race calendar whilst helping runners of all abilities on their half marathon journey.”

The Ealing Half Marathon starts and finishes in Lammas Park and features a 13.1-mile route on closed roads around the leafy streets and parks of the West London Borough. The race will welcome 8,000 runners of all abilities to its sixth anniversary race on Sunday 24th September 2017.
