To mark Global Running Day, Asics has launched a new spot, entitled Run to Feel, which celebrates the role running has played during lockdown.

In addition to the tribute, the brand has also released a study of 14,000 people across 12 countries, which found that that more than a third globally – and 43% in the UK – exercise more now than they had done before the coronavirus pandemic began despite social distancing measures.

The ASICS study also reveals that 67% of those polled say exercise helps them cope mentally. 78% of runners say that being active is making them feel more in control, according to the brand, with 82% saying that running currently plays a key role in helping them clear their mind.
