The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) has extended its partnership with Infosys until 2020, which will see the two organisations work together to offer further analytics and insights to tennis fans around the world through ATPWorldTour.com.

The global technology company has been a partner of the ATP, which operates the men’s tennis tour, since 2015, with the latest deal set to see Infosys continue as technology services partner and a platinum partner of the ATP World Tour.

In the new partnership, there will be a revamp of all ATP’s digital platforms allowing them to create a new ATP World Tour app. Infosys will support ATP by looking at artificial intelligence developments and the ATP’s new PlayerZone app, as well as ATP Stats Leaderboards.

Commenting on the extended partnership, chief operating officer of Infosys, Pravin Rao said: “Our work with the ATP has gone from strength to strength in showcasing the future of tennis using technology such as AI and analytics, and in providing unique and differentiated digital experiences for players, coaches and most importantly the millions of tennis fans across the world.”

Chris Kermode, ATP executive chairman and president,  added: “Technology is playing an increasingly leading role in enhancing our understanding and analysis of our sport as well as enabling us to forge greater engagement with our worldwide fanbase.”
