The ATP Tour has agreed a new global partnership with Australian online foreign exchange and payments company OFX.
The deal sees OFX become the official prize money payment partner of the global men’s tennis circuit until 2027.
In a statement, ATP said that the ‘collaboration will unlock significant enhancements to financial services across the ATP Tour.’
As per the agreement, OFX will provide a range of global payment solutions to ATP, including prize money payments, as well as a prize money player platform, and corporate FX transactions.
OFX will work with ATP to ‘simplify payment processes, enhance data security, and expedite payments for players in their preferred currency.’
Daniele Sanò, Chief Business Officer at ATP, said, “Last season the ATP Tour delivered a record US$230 million in compensation to players all over the world.
“OFX’s services will help us optimise our financial operations, add value to players, and create efficiencies across our global ecosystem. Our partnership is a true brand fit.”
In addition to its partnership with ATP, OFX holds sponsorships across various sports, including the ITF, Irish Legends Golf Tour, United Rugby Championships, and Super League Triathlon.
Josh Goines, OFX North American Regional President, added, “This partnership underscores our dedication to supporting the growth of the ATP and reflects our commitment to delivering seamless financial solutions to these tremendous athletes worldwide.”
