Aviva has teamed up with Premiership Rugby to give fans their say on the Aviva Premiership Player of the Month award, by becoming the ’10th judge’ for the award.
A judging panel made up of nine rugby journalists from print, broadcast and online media currently decides the award, but from this month fans will also get their say.
Serving as the 10th judge on the panel, fans can cast their vote by visiting www.aviva.co.uk/10thjudge and selecting the name of the player who has impressed them the most each month. Combined with the other nine judge’s votes, the player with the most nominations will be named the Aviva Premiership Player of the Month.
Aviva ambassador Austin Healey said: ‘It’s been an epic start to the new Aviva Premiership season with loads of tries and some shock results. Everyone has an opinion on who’s playing well and the pundits definitely don’t always agree, so it’s great that Aviva are giving fans the chance to have their say. I’m sure if the 10th Judge was around when I was playing then I’d have picked up a few more awards!’
Each month Austin Healey will have his say on the Aviva Premiership Player of the Month, and Aviva is rewarding fans for casting their vote, with one fan selected at random each month to win four tickets to an Aviva Premiership game of their choice.
Last month’s award was presented to Bath Rugby’s Kyle Eastmond (pictured above).
