Award-winning broadcaster and presenter Clare Balding has been confirmed to host the next Sport Industry Breakfast Club on 8th June, which will see Judy Murray share her views with senior sport industry leaders ahead of a busy summer of sport.
Balding is one of Britain’s leading broadcasters, having won the BAFTA Special Award and RTS Presenter of the Year Award for her coverage of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The BT Sport presenter will speak to Murray about her expertise on driving tennis participation in non-traditional areas, as well as the challenges of increasing physical activity and commercial support for the game at all levels, and more.
A huge advocate for participation in sport, Murray is also Great Britain’s Fed Cup captain and coached Heather Watson at the Australian Open this year.
The Sport Industry Breakfast Club, supported by MP & Silva, the leading international media rights company, is the industry’s number one networking event series with four content-led networking breakfasts over the course of the year.
Each event welcomes up to 200 guests from across the industry for an interview with leading figures from the world of sport and business.
Judy Murray, mother of grand slam champions and Davis Cup winners Andy and Jamie, will join Clare Balding on 8th June – just over two weeks from the start of the Wimbledon Championships – at The BT Centre.
The first Sport Industry Breakfast Club of 2016 saw Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson and Damian Collins MP explore a number of the recent issues to hit the headlines, including FIFA, IAAF, London 2017 and Maria Sharapova. Find out more here.
Further details including the speaker line up for the final two Sport Industry Breakfast Club of 2016 – scheduled for 7th September and 10th November – will be announced soon.
