Danish audio visual company, Bang & Olufsen, has partnered with the Kia Super League (KSL) by becoming an official supporter of the new competition.

Domestic women’s cricket in England will enter a new era this weekend when the inaugural KSL gets underway, with all six teams in action across 30th July and 31st July.

As an official supporter of the T20 competition, the electronics company will receive a range of sponsorship and marketing rights, including the chance for its customers to win a seat on the Bang & Olufsen VIP pitch-side sofa during KSL Finals Day at the Essex County Ground on Sunday 21st August.

Yorkshire Diamonds captain, Lauren Winfield, said: “Music is a really important part of my pre-match routine.  In my car, on the team bus or in the dressing room, it really helps me to get into my playing zone, so it’s brilliant news that Bang & Olufsen has extended its support of women’s cricket in England to the Kia Super League this summer.

“I cannot wait to lead Yorkshire Diamonds out this weekend for the first time, in front of a passionate home crowd at Headingley.  It will be a very special moment for all of us as players, and one which is only possible through the growing investment in the women’s game.”

Bang & Olufsen sales manager United Kingdom & Ireland, Andrew Macer, said: “Bang & Olufsen is proud to continue its support of women’s cricket.  Our mission is to be the best in the game and provide experiences like no one else through our high-end audio and visual expertise.  We’re pleased to be partnering with those who share our ambitions and drive to succeed”.
