Adidas enlists Barry Keoghan for new Manchester United film

Adidas and Manchester United have release a powerful new video starring Irish actor Barry Keoghan as part of wider marketing campaign for the club’s recently released third kit.


Keoghan – star of Saltburn, Dunkirk, The Banshees of Inisherin – appears in the film alongside of raft of current Manchester United players, club legends and assorted famous faces, including Luke Shaw, Alejandro Garnach, Kobbie Mainoo, influencer Angry Ginge, Bryan Robson and Jaap Stam.

Set to 90s anthem Born Slippy by Underworld, the film sees Keoghan narrate a love story to Manchester United while watching a grassroots football match.

The film’s release follows Adidas’ multi-club kit launch earlier in the week which saw the sportswear brand enlist football legends Alessandro Del Piero, Rio Ferdinand, Zinedine Zidane, Patrick Vieira and Bastian Schweinsteiger to model the third kits for five of its biggest clubs.
