Bath Rugby Strikes Heineken Deal
Bath Rugby has struck a sponsorship deal with Heineken to become the official beer of the Guinness Premiership team from the coming season.
This new sponsorship builds on the established relationship between Bath Rugby and leading UK brewer Scottish and Newcastle, who have been suppliers to Bath Rugby bars at their Recreation Ground stadium for the past three years.
Heineken has a rich rugby heritage through its long-running sponsorships of Rugby World Cup and the Heineken Cup – European club rugby’s premier competition.
Under the new deal, Heineken will have branding around the ground and, in addition, the West Stand at the Rec will be ‘Heineken Stand’ from next season.
Scottish & Newcastle UK will continue to be the main supplier to Bath Rugby bars with the supply of other leading brands including Foster’s and John Smith’s.
The Gaymer Cider Company will continue to supply Blackthorn to all the Club bars while Theakston will continue as the Official Cask Ale supplier of Bath Rugby.
