BBC Scotland Renews Spl Rights

BBC Scotland has agreed a new two-year TV rights deal to broadcast live Scottish Premier League coverage across its radio, television and online platforms.


The deal secures terrestrial coverage until the end of season 2011/12 and will see BBC Radio Scotland broadcast live commentaries of every SPL match with the Monday night TV highlights programme to continue over the same period.


The BBC has also extended its internet rights and will make even more SPL match action available online.


Additionally BBC Radio 5 Live will have the ability to showcase a number of league games across the UK.
