The British Darts Organisation’s new commercial arm, BDO Events Ltd, has appointed sport and entertainment agency, Generate, to develop the brand, commercial vision and strategy for the next five years.
The BDO, the organising body for the sport, offers a competition structure from grass roots to elite.
Stephen Holland, director at BDO Events said: ‘We appointed Generate to ensure BDO Events remain competitive in an ever evolving and popular field of sport and entertainment.’

According to Generate, broadcast and sponsorship will be integral to the BDO’s vision, as well as building the profile of the players and use of digital to engage with fans.

A new look BDO will emerge during the New BDO World Trophy event in February 2014 at the Blackpool Tower.
