David Beckham is reported to have agreed a deal with US TV network CBS to give
an interview during the SuperBowl final next month – annually the most watched
TV programme of the year in the US.
Beckham’s interview is scheduled to take place at halftime at the SuperBowl,
which is expected to draw in an audience of over 80 million viewers.
The halftime entertainment is the biggest draw of the SuperBowl with the
viewing figures traditionally peaking around this time.
The former England captain signed a deal to move from Real Madrid to LA
Galaxy at the end of the season.
The SuperBowl takes place on February 4.
