Ahead of El Clasico, Beko – a premium partner of La Liga leaders FC Barcelona – has launched the Beko Global Fan Wave, a global campaign allowing fans to upload a video of themselves taking part in a Mexican wave.
Once uploaded, they will be encouraged to share their video clip on Facebook and Twitter using the hashtag #JoinTheTeam, with fans able to track the length of the wave as the Beko Global Fan Wave progresses.
At least 100 of the most entertaining clips will be shown at the Camp Nou stadium throughout March and April, with many also aired at ‘El Clasico’ on 22nd March.
Every entry will also automatically be entered into a prize draw to win one of three weekend trips to Barcelona, with the winners treated to flights, accommodation, a VIP stadium tour and tickets to a match all courtesy of Beko.
Ten runners up will also receive a signed FC Barcelona football shirt.
