Beko Launches Behind The Scenes Campaign With Barcelona

Beko has launched the first of a behind-the-scenes docuseries with Barcelona, furthering the partnership which saw the launch of the successful Eat Like A Pro campaign.

The campaign, created by M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment will feature a four-part mini-series airing on Thursdays on Beko’s YouTube channels, and will look behind the scenes at the La Liga champions. The aim of the series is to place a focus on the ‘Pros Behind The Pros’, the Barcelona staff who make it possible for the players to maintain healthy lifestyles and perform at their best on the pitch.

The home appliance brand is Barcelona’s Exclusive Training Partner, and as such, it was able to use its access to the Ciutat Esportiva training ground to expose the levels of planning and work that go into maintaining performance levels at one of the world’s most famous sporting institutions.

The series will take a look at the work of nutritionists and chefs as well as the kit team to ground staff and physios, also featuring those working with the youth team at La Masia, Barcelona’s famous youth academy.

“We’ve heard from football heroes like FC Barcelona star Gerard Piqué, and this time, we’re going behind the scenes, focusing on a diverse mix of professionals behind the footballers to help inspire people all around the world to live healthier lives.”

Eat Like A Pro saw Barcelona players star in a campaign to promote the benefits of healthy eating to children and their parents, winning the Individual or Team Partnership of the Year award at the Sport Industry Awards 2019. It was also shortlisted for International Campaign of the Year in Association with YouGov Sport award as well as the Social and Sustainable Development award.
