Benteke Signs With The Sports PR Company
The Sports PR Company, which this week added Tour de France winner Chris Froome to its list of clients, has announced that it will be representing Aston Villa and Belgian striker Christian Benteke for international PR and sponsorship.
Benteke, who won the Belgian First Division with Standard Liege before moving to Aston Villa, has scored 30 goals for the Premier League club and established himself in the Belgian national team.
The Sports PR Company counts the likes of Didier Drogba, Theo Walcott, David James and Michael Essien amongst its footballing clients.
Meanwhile, Villa have announced that the club’s Sina Weibo social media account in China has passed 100,000 followers, with its Youku channel also going from strength to strength, making the Midlands side the 12th most popular European club in China – albeit some way short of Manchester City’s 8.5 million followers in the country.
