The Racecourse Newbury has announced bet365 as the new headline sponsor for the Hennessy Heritage Festival in a new long-term agreement, while cognac brand Hennessy has also extended its deal with the venue to remain the title sponsor of the event.
The 2014 edition of the steeplechase will be the 57th under the Hennessy name, with the brand signing a three-year extension and providing the bulk of the £175,000 prize fund until at least 2016.
Meanwhile, as well becoming the headline sponsor of the three-day festival built around the Hennessy Gold Cup, bet365 will sponsor races across the three days including the Grade Two bet365 Long Distance Hurdle.

The Hennessy Heritage Festival will take place from Thursday 28th November to Saturday 30th November at Newbury Racecourse this year.
