Betfair Tells Fans To Prove Their Love

Bookmaker Betfair is offering die-hard football fans the chance to win a free £50 bet by sending a picture of themselves in their club’s football shirt.

The new campaign comes after Manchester City’s Carlos Tevez this week declared his undying love for the team, claiming ‘no-one loves the shirt more than me’.

Betfair’s Alex Bake explained: ‘Everyone seems to have forgotten that Tevez handed in a transfer request at the end of last year and that he used to play for United. Can he really, hand on heart, say he loves City that much?’

The prize will be awarded to the best twenty pictures and fans can enter via the betting firm’s Twitter feed.
