The addition of several new providers illustrates that momentum is ramping up and Birmingham 2022 is on track to host an incredible showcase of sport, of sport, culture, creativity and community.

OCS Group UK, part of the international facilities management company, has been selected to provide security services for the Games. As Official Software and Solutions Provider for Core Games Management Systems, Wiz-Team will deliver a suite of fully integrated and customisable applications for the Birmingham 2022 Queen’s Baton Relay, as well as accreditation and access control, plus sport entries and qualifications.

Global provider of event management solutions EventsAIR has been named as the Official Accommodation and Transfer Systems Provider. The company will be supporting the management of accommodation reservations alongside arrival and departure transfers for people attending the event.

Alongside LED and PA systems in many of the venues, ST will provide a broad range of audio-visual services including an innovative and highly flexible signal distribution network in every venue, providing a fully integrated IP based solution for all non-broadcast audio, video and data distribution.

Finally, Riedel Communications join Birmingham 2022 as Official Radio Communications Provider. Birmingham 2022 will use its resources and previous expertise in global sporting events to provide radio communications for the Queen’s Baton Relay as well as the Games themselves.

Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) Executive Director Martin Reynolds said: “As the excitement for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games continues to build, we congratulate our colleagues at the organising committee and CGF Partnerships for welcoming OCS Group UK, Wiz-Team, EventsAIR, Sports Technology (ST) and Riedel to our family of partners.
